i tried splitting the mushroom with a razor and i cant tell if i cut it all the way or not. what is the worst thing thatcould happen if i didnt cut it all the way and only got in 3/4 the way. i dont know if i didnt get all the way through it so im just wondering what could happen. i wanted to grow more shrooms =[

If you didn't cut it all the way, it's likely going to pull itself back together.

Mushrooms are pretty hardy. Don't be afraid to scrape them off their rock cut them once or several times, and separate the frags.

People who have more mushrooms than they want have trouble killing them intentionally.

I wouldn't stress killing one accidentally in a fragging attempt.

Yeah you could always try the blender method. I always cut mine of the rock that way there is no question of being a clean cut etc.

Honestly I dont know if a blender works. I have personally taken one and literally chopped it up in TINY pieces and put in a rubbermaid container with rubble, covered with tulle. shortly there after tiny mushrooms were everywhere. I don't think you CAN kill these things other than really poor water quality and temps.

blender works... fo sho... just DO nOt dump in DT, its good to get some rare ones... get 2 polpys blender one and throw it in a frag tank with Cc or rubble..
