Is this how loud the Tunze 9004 is supposed to be during break in?

I read on many forums that the Tunze 9004 is very quiet, but this seems quiet load to me. It is louder than anything in my tank, granted it only has two powerheads, return pump, and the IM media reactor.

This is hopefully just the break in period? I just installed it today on my Nuvo Fusion 30L (I had to put it in one of the media slots, as the dedicated skimmer slot was too small for this skimmer

It should not be that loud, I would make sure the needle wheel is undamaged and that the depth is correct, they can be quiet loud if submerged too deep or not deep enough, only 1/3- 1/2 of the intake grate should be submerged, their is a mark on the back for the recommended water level, the top magnet holder should be just about 1/4" under water.
