Had this foxface for about 2 weeks. Seemed fine till this morning when i noticed these white spots. All the other fish seem to be fine.

I'd say so. Tangs and Foxfaces seem to be more prone to disease then other fish. Doesn't look like he was quarantined. Hopefully you can get him out to treat him.

Mine broke out in white spot after a powder blue tang addition. I fed with lots of marine grazer rings and nori dipped in garlic. It shook it off quite well, hopefully yours will too.

thanks, I will put in quarantine tank and treat. It was supposed to go in there when I first got it but the tank had a spike of ammonia that day i guess it hadn't finished cycling yet.

I recommend against the use of garlic to feed fish. Studies have shown that it can be detrimental to their long-term health.

If one of your fish has the parasite then you must treat all of the fish in the tank and keep it fallow (fishless) for 72-90 days.
Here is a good sticky about treating fish infected with ich.

Only if you are feeding garlic heavily everyday, but as part as a short term feeding regime whilst they are sick would be ok.
