Is this light enough for 30gallon?

I am setting up 30 gallon 30x12x19. Do you think Current 2x24W HO T5 (1 blue and 10K white) enough for just Zoanthid, Paly and few LPS?
TIA

I think you would want to get a 4x24W T5HO fixture because a 30 gallon tank is tall and the 2x24W will not be able to penetrate to the bottom of the tank. Check Fish Need It lights out they are well priced and well worth the money.

As well, most of the cheaper brand come with the equivalent cheap bulbs. I agree that 2x24 would be towards the lower side of lightly requirements.

2x24w for 19" high tank will not enough light for sure, you might able to keep Zoas and acan by placing them high in your tank but not sps (acro)

thanks guys.
Yes, I am not keeping any zoa and Paly at the bottom of the tank. will be low light/no light corals
The rock will be up to 2/3 of the tank. I leave room under for fish to swim and all coral will be on top (1/3) of the tank.
Current fixture but with ATI and Geisemen bulb. I don't like the bulbs that come with fixture.
How about 2x24 Watt and a roll of LED 3 watt. like 3 Cool White and 6 Royal Blue from Rapid LED at constant current. (My friend has the setup for sale so I think it can get from him and get shimmer for my tank) .

I have a 37 gal column. I have 150w de hqi mh and 40w of actinic. It allows me to keep whatever I want and IMO nothing beats that MH shimmer!

Thanks guy . Look like 4x24 is good idea. Need to add shimmer.

I love the look under MH but can't, my office is turn off the AC in the weekend, will be hot in there.

consider it... "Cloud Coverage" in nature?

oh +1 on the 4 bulb. also get one with as high % reflectors as you can find. it really helps
