Odyssea Metal Halide System (Electronic Version)

I have a 36Lx12Wx22H (40gal) tank and Im palnning to put different type of coral and a few fish (clown) in there. Is this light will get my tank ready for everything i put in there? Also will it give me any problem such as too much light?

I have the same system but the 24" version on my 20G High so no I don't think you'll have any problems. Be prepared to switch out the MH bulb. I did not like the one that came with it. There's long thread on this fixture going on. Look for it for some more insight.

You may want to think about purchasing from a different company, Odyssea products have an infamously bad reputation. For a tank that size a T5 system may be what you are looking for, the single halide is going to put out a lot of light right in the middle of the tank. But you are going to have darker areas along the side, T5 lighting will give you nice, even coverage. Check out reefgeek.com and marinedepot.com for some T5 lighting options.
