Hi friends,
Just noticed this mucus and want to make sure I don't have a case of brooklynella on my hands. I have had this girl (ocellaris) for a couple of weeks now and she has been doing great. I just brought home a long tentacle anemone l and got it acclimated and in the tank. It is doing surprisingly well in a short amount of time. My clown showed interest pretty quickly and it appeared as if she got stung since she jolted back after making contact. Since then, she has started shedding, if you will, her slime coat and I immediately have panicked thinking it could be brook (the pic doesn't show it too clearly). Is this normal, or do I need to act quick treating her and doing fresh water dips!? Thanks in advance for any input or advice you may have!
