is this normal.....feeding a porc puffer

I take a small piece of shrimp and individually feed the puffer. he eats the pieces hole, if they are too large he spits it out and chews it.
but after 1 piece his bottom belly bulges out. after 2 pieces it really bulges out. (I don't feed him anymore)
after the 2nd piece he looks like a porc puffer gun

When my neighbor Jorge had a Dog Face Puffer he did the same. He had him for 3 years with the same symptoms your describing.

He was given to a friend with a 200g aggresive and is still thriving at 5 years. Hes really huge.

Just be sure to have the shrimp soked in water before feeding or else the water inside the puffers insides will be absorbed into the shrimp. It just helps the shrimp go down smoother and makes them a less messy eater since they wont spit, chew, spit chew and so on.

I got a bag of Freezed Dry Shrimp (The Dry ones) that you can have as well...Was the puffers favorite food, I feed it to the anemones and all.
