Is this normal on a clownfish?

I noticed my clownfish has developed dark marks on its side between the first bar and the second bar(misbared). Just wondering if this is normal or should I be concerned?

To my knowledge it's an oscellaris but maybe it's a perc? I can't tell the difference.

it could possibly be hypermelizination, in which case there is no need to worry. Has he been hanging out in a coral? Is he acting normal/eating?

I haven't noticed him in any coral. He usually hangs out in the corner of the tank. He eats like a champ so I wasn't too worried but it just appeared one day. I do have a bubble tip and a frogspawn so maybe it tried going in. The marks are still there today but acting just fine. Maybe I'm just paranoid. 😣

I have had clowns color up intensely like that when fed well. The colors almost bled together.

I'll take that! I made my own food not too long ago and that's all I've been feeding meat wise. For veggies I put in dried seaweed (red green and purple)
