Watch for signs of Hyper Melanization. It's a skin irritation, exhibited by dark spots or blotches, on the clown fish. It's fairly common, in clown fish that are using something other than an anemone, as a host. It's a change in skin pigmentation, caused by stings or burns, from corals.
