Is this normal?

I have a Kenya tree coral. I woke up today and I noticed that about 8 of the branches on my coral had broken off and attached themselves to rocks all over the tank. I pulled a few of them off but they were really sticky so I stuck them to a few small rocks in the bottom of the tank. Is this normal for this coral to do this. I have had it in the tank for about a year and never seen this before? The large coral seems to be doing well and is open even larger then before. Thanks for any advice on this.

i have xenia that after i put it in the tank after 3 days it did this
i think its a sign of healthy specimin growing and spreading

Kenyas drop branches to reproduce, pretty common, can become a problem as you will have kenyas all over the place though.

Stuff grows like weeds, it will all over the place before you know it. Good luck!
