I have a SCWD...and am concidering placing it in the mega-flow chamber of my RR tank. Is this ok to do?

the higher the flow on a SCWD the more often it switches flow from side to side. would it restrick your present flow?

Joe, I'm sure it's possible. But you just have to plan ahead. The SCWDs do occasionally need servicing, so anticipating that will determine if it's a smart move or not. Will you be able to access it in there? Will you have enough room under your hood/canopy to get to it? Will you have it plumbed properly so you can take it out without making a complete mess? Make sure to keep it simple!

Also, look into two mods for the SCWD. First and most important is the ICURN clean out adaptor. This mod allows you to actually get inside the SCWD to clean and service it. The other is to ream out the inlet and outlets to reduced head and increase flow.
