I have a 90 gallon display, with a 30b sump thats about half way filled with water... this tank runs with a filter sock, pro clear 75 skimmer, and some cheato. I have never done a water change it's been running 2 years now. I top off with water straight from the faucet no RO/DI ever on this tank.. I have no algae problems and all fish seem very healthy I actually had to get rid of a blue tang I had for years that I put in here for a bigger home but he out grew it also..

Right now the tank has 2 damsels, foxface, coral beauty, purple stripe dotty back, and a royal gramma...

about 20 snails, pencil urchin, random feather dusters and a couple mushrooms..

I've never tested this tank for anything...

will it crash soon?

Try testing your pH, NH3 and NO3...that's like asking "doc, will I get sick soon?" without an examination.

The macro algae is likely holding things together for you...

I guess that is true... I will see if I can get some test kits later this week. I don't own any. only thing I test for is the salinity and I do it with a glass hydrometer.. try to keep it between 1.024 and 1.027 usually

Apparently it is, and I'm jealous your so lucky. Would be interesting to see your test results.
