is this possible

Try some cheap fish to get through the cycle and mini cycles. Mollys or damsels work great and are pretty tough. Maybe a handful of chaeto or calurpa and some festering goo from the bottom of a sump.

I don't want to start anything but if a lfs knows all of the information about your tank and they still sold you fish, than maybe you should rethink giving them your money.

In the last 6 months since I reworked my reef I have acquired a lot of new beasties, mostly from club members and folks draining their tanks. The only things I have had problems with have been livestock purchased from LFS.

What is left in your tank right now?

the only thing left as far as fish, is one yellow tang, and one clown fish. so far, both of them are doing well. as far as the lfs is concerned, i had two of them tell me it was ok to add fish. one i named in my first post. the other is located closer to me. all of the frags i received at the swap meet are doing really well. maybe i will concentrate on the reef part for now and see how that goes.

My suggestion would be to concentrate on bacteria and copepods. Sounds like time is all you need and you will be jammin.
