Is this price unreasonable for a favia?

Sadly,
I thought I had a source for a Baby's breath. Seems he was unreliable, in the end. I really love those, I assume they DO keep their color?

Yah babys breath is probably the nices favia I've seen. Thats why its the only one I have. :D

Ditto.

BTW, I was just looking at what I thought was a prism favia in the Diver's Den at Drs. Foster & Smith live aquaria and it sure doesn't look like that. Here it is. They want 500 bucks for it. It is sweet, but I wonder which has the right name?

Mine looks less than spectacular in my tank. The only time I get the color that I wish it always had is when I feed. Looks cool under actinics too. I think if they are blasted with light they lose some color.

That looks like a colony rather than a single polyp. All the same, it's kind of mediocre looking. Probably more realistic than Vivid's.

IMO

Shopped, and nothing special Aussie or not.
When it settles into your tank, it will be a regular purple/red with a green center...

there are NO favias worth that kind of money. They arent rare, and they cetainly dont cost that much at the LFS's.
These online retailers have everyone snookered....
