Is this reef safe?

Does anyone have experience with an Adhesive - Sealant called Super 7? This stuff...

They do make something special for aquariums which is a bit harder to track down and costs twice the price.

I have an empty aquarium that I plan on using as a sump, I have sections to be glued in, just need a safe glue to use.
If I wait for it to cure, and flush it several times, am i putting my livestock at risk?

O.

I wouldn't use it. The $6 GE tubes of silicone will work just fine for the purpose you need and they are easy to find.

If I'd be able to get GE that would be great. But I can't in my part of town. Have you seen this product? Do you know that its bad or just playing safe. I don't have lot of options...

A new search with a different search engine and this popped up:

Vinyltrimethoxysilane tells us it's a silicone. Can't promise though that there isn't something in it that will leach out, nothing is listed otherwise. We don't know what additives are in it.

+1 if you cant do the research of what its made of, or it doesnt tell you outright.. I would just stick with what is known to be good..

Where are you located? Simply buy some online and have it shipped to you. Not a huge problem. You can save a few bucks but why take the risk of a bad product when you spend so much on your system just to skimp on the silicone?
