Is this Rhodactis a Danger to Blenny?

One of my first corals was a shriveled little
shroom. I was told it was Rhodactis and I'm
not certain. I've not seen this particular "look"
in my various books/threads.

It has doubled in size in about 3 weeks.

1. Is it Rhodactis?
2. Is it a danger to my ember blenny?

I would highly doubt it would / could eat a fish. It does look scary though, huh...

Would agree on the Rhodactis ID. I would be suprised if it at a fish, unless it grew to be very large (and some do) and your fish was real small, slow, and stupid (and some are) lol

Elephant ear mushrooms can and do kill blennies, including 4" lawnmower blennies, or any perching fish. I wouldn't have believed it until I caught it in the act.

It is quite possible, if it grows large and your blenny decides to take a nap on it.

It is about 3 1/2 to 4" diameter (about double what
it was 3 weeks ago):mixed:

That thing can get really big. Mine was almost 7" when I sold it my friend. I'm not sure it fast enough to eat fish but I think it has no problem eating it if it can catch it.
