Is this RTN?

I had a nice colony of Meteor Shower growing. Until yesterday.

My tank is in my office, so I get to watch it all day long. I had noticed my Foxface picking around the coral, so I went for a closer look. And this is what I found:

That was yesterday 4pm.

This is what it looked like around noon today:

So, my first reaction was to blame the Foxface, but I'm not sure he was doing anything other than eating the dying flesh.

I've not dealt with RTN before. Is this what I'm seeing? Is the Foxface to blame or is he just taking advantage of the situation?

I always thought RTN was a malady associated with SPS; specifically acropia species.

But tissue loss does indeed happen to LPS. I'm not sure what's going on with this coral, but it looks to me predation or a parasite might be to blame. Is watch for what's happening at night when the lights are off.
