is this stand strong enough?

its an acrylic 180 gallon... 3/4" plywood, 4"x6"'s, 2"x6"'s, framing braces here and there... theres water in it now and there no problem but i dont want to add rock and everything if i have to re-do the stand.... any ideas?

the structure looks as it will do, If you could the 2x6 should have been standing up for your cross braceing not laying down for strength purpose.
One other note as most people will lay a piece of stryo down between tank and stand. wood does move and this will absorb any movement between tank and stand.
Painting with some type of water proof paint (Epoxy) on stand as alot of water over time will come in contact with it.

Because you have the boards on the top laying on their sides versus upright, they are in fact in their weakest orientation. If you think about how the floor in the house is made, the widest dimension of the lumber is pointed up to get the most strength out of the board.

Check out THIS thread and see how others have built their stands. While there are many approaches that work, this one is simple to figure out and easy to make.
