Is this stock possible? A good mix, get along etc?? If any/all of the fish are not good together give me an alternative...

57 gallon tank 36x18x20
20 gallon sump
SRO1000 skimmer

Here is what I would like to potentially do:

1 of these:

Melanarus Wrasse
Yellow Wrasse
Red Lined Wrasse

one flasher or fairy wrasse or maybe a pair?
pair of clowns
midas blenny

so 5-6 total fish.... does this seem doable? Will they mix ok? Any of the wrasses better/worse than the others for this mix??

Thanks for the help..

IMO, this variety of fish may be okay...but I would recommend to just got with 5 total..the order you add the fish may play a big role if all your fish get along..

Melanarus Wrasse and midas blenny both get to 5" range so they are getting pretty big for that tank size --you should be ok so long you don't stuff it with live rock and give them some swimming room - my Melanarus Wrasse swims alot and so do all wrasses from what i have seen - some fairy wrasse get big also so choose wisely - i would consider trading the yellow wrasse or red lined for a trio of flashers(male-female-female) check divers den on live aquaria you can find some stunning trios-

pair of clowns(dont get a mean variety imo)
midas blenny(some people say they can be a bit territorial)
trio of flasher wrasse
Melanarus Wrasse

this would give you alot of different colors and movement-- flasher wrasse being smaller should help with your fish load also

your stock list was very close to my list in my 75 when i had it

all wrasse jump so make sure you have a lid- my fairy and flashers jumped at any given moment - i think my fairy had a concussion for two weeks one time from hitting the lid- scared the crap out of me when it happen

Your list sounds fine. For the halichoeres wrasse, maybe look into biocellatus... it's one of the smaller ones.

I'd get either flashers, or a small fairy (nothing large like flame wrasses). Lubbocks are gorgeous and inexpensive.

That's a really nice skimmer, I think if you take into consideration the niches of the various fish, you could get more. Something like a watchman goby and royal gramma, perhaps?

:wavehand: Hi! Im a newbie at all the aquarium world, and I would love to get some of you're thoughts.
I have a 60 gallon tank complete with love rock, protein skimmer, filter, lights, everything I need to get started. Here is the stocking list I was thinking about, and I would love a second opinion.
-2 Ocellaris Clownfish
-1 Firefish
-1 Green Mandarin (once my tank has enough growth on the live rock to sustain it)
-1 Coral Beauty Angelfish
-1 Royal Gamma
-2 Yellow headed Jawfish
-1 Falco Hawkfish
-2 Six Line Wrasse

What do you think? I would love to have your opinion :fish2:

It's best if you start a new thread of your own. Gets too confusing otherwise.
