...1 Small False Perc, 1 Yellow Watchman Goby and 1 Royal Gramma in a 15g FOWLR? The tank has been up for over a year...

I currently have 1 Small False Perc and 1 Yellow Watchmen Goby in there now...with the appropriate cleanup crew (snails, crabs, Shrimp, etc...)

Just want something with more color...as my yellow watchman goby hides in the rocks all day...

I also think you should be fine. But the Royal grammas can get awfully aggresive. That would be my only concern.

It's in a tank now with a clown fish...and has been there for a while...which is why it's a consideration...it's relatively small too...

KristyS,

Thanks! I have heard it a few times. However, it is been a while since my Yellow Watchman Goby has been out to get cleaned like that...

Dont worry about it, even the most aggressive fish can be tamed with the right amount of food :)

Try telling that to an undulated trigger.....

That fish load is fine. I have more than that in a 10g, but I also have a 3g refugium loaded with algae, and I never have even a hint of nitrate.

As for fish load you will likely be fine.
My only concern would be the aggressiveness of the Gramma, but being the last fish should help some.

Well my local LFS has him in a tank with a clown now, and he's been there for several weeks...eats healthy and seems to get along with the clown just fine...and that's with very few rocks/caves.

Im hoping my 20lbs of LR will provide many places for him to hide out in...

Or a Titan Trigger. I got chased 100 yards by one and I was beating him off with my camera gear.

I'm just curious. In your post you say you have a 15 gallon tank, but in your profile you list "current tank 10g FOWLR?" Did you upgrade or do you have a 5 gallon sump on this system?

I'd pay for that video!

Well I picked the little guy/gal up yesterday.

All is doing well - he/she was out in the open eating up a storm and then dissapeared last night.

It didn't come out this morning at feeding time, but I could see it hiding in the rocks.

You actually have a little more space to play with. The general rule is 1 inch of fish per gal od system water, so technically you could have 15" of fish. Remember to take maximum growth size into mind when calculating. You should post some pics of the tank too.
