So,I get this Blasto in the mail and the water is brown and reeks.

What do you think it's chances are?I've had good luck in the past rescuing ill blastos but this looks and smells pretty bad:(

id say good chance, doesn't look like much tissue rotted away in the pic. hard to tell. the bare spots i'm assuming where supposed to be so i'd say it will be good just give it a little time.

I had some in the same state but sadly they never made it !!I tried every possible way to save them and i'm in England where these are very hard to come by.:mad2:
:mad2:

you can dip it in a seperate container filled with water and use a turkey baster and blow off all dead tissue. this might help it recover from the dead tissue making it die faster.

simple cut off the good part and hopefully save the dead part and see if anything grows back.

Is there any way to save part of a dying frag? Thanx nicole

I found 3 small Blasto colonies that the hermits knocked over that I had given up for lost. They all had new polyps growing where the originals were.
