Is this wrasse reefsafe?

Kinda have my doubts. He is QT and i dunno what wrasse he is. I think its some kind of cleaner wrasse beacause I seen him cleaning aggressivly in the lfs. He said it came in as a Pseudochromis
I couldnt tell ya, But it looks more wrasse to me than other.

juv Labropsis xanthonata - very un-reefsafe. Adults are coralivores.

Not to close i am in michigan.
No this fish will not get to the DT. Figures that he is a coral muncher. All i see is he will eat polyps. So does that mean SPS,Zoas,LPS?

i honestly don't know ,whatever is tasty at the time i would assume .i have lps and non reef safe wrasses together and they don't hurt the corals in any way ,absolutely no picking .i myself would give him a try but I'm partial to wrasses and would feed them sps if needed .

I think these species eat *only* coral...

No its a small LFS. He said he never had gotten one like this before.
Mine has been in QT with my regal angel. Having an SPS tank i cant risk it with him. He is pretty cool, He is a very active cleaner.
I do remember that LA had a pic of this guy in the cover of one of their mags.

The adult males are sweet looking. Black with gold dots.

Well he will be staying in a 40 breeder till i can find a home for him locally. The regal is going into a 300 gallon.

he is on my wish list so i will go for a six hour trip if needed .we all have the time for ourselves and my wife wanted me to leave today ,lol i dont even know if he would sell him to me but i will try .
