Is Tonga Maroon Linckia Safe?

to keep in clam tank? I love the purple color Linckia. I had a blue linckia before - but it died quickly - that was before I knew to acclimate it slowly to my tank.

I like to add one of these color linckia to my clam tank - but not sure if they are safe with clams.

If it is the same starfish as the one I have (maroon w/ oange tube feet), then, yes, it's clam safe. But mine is starving to death now that it's eaten all the sponges, etc., that it likes to eat. It takes a very large tank to keep one alive w/ lots of LR to keepone alive.
