*** is up with Reef Radiance?

So I ordered a new DM-132E last week on the 8th. I have sent them 2 emails wondering on the order and have heard nothing. NOTHING! I tried calling and all I got was the machine. I was hoping on getting an email saying that the order was processed or something but I have got nothing. Anybody know these dudes?
 
I have them too & want to order one more. it took about a month to get them, but I was told it would before hand... for the price, I can't complain, although I was prepared for the lengthy wait!
 
I just ordered the Pro Fusion 360 for my 90 gallon yesterday. I added the apex upgrade and wanted to discuss it with them so I called them this afternoon. They put Rick, the owner, on the phone and we talked for 15 minutes about this new fixture. It was good to talk directly with him. I can't wait to get it as I'm sure it will be great and a big upgrade from my 4 bulb T5 fixture.
 
It's only been a week...

I haven't even gotten an email saying the order was processed or something. I have ordered everything online and have always gotten an email once an order has been placed. Hell I get answer's to me emails the same day.
 
ive had a terrible experience with them, got a set of lights while we did a group buy, lights never got delivered and the guy acted like it was my fault the lights got lost. Glad my bank cares, cause he sure as hell didnt want to help. Wouldnt give them $ if it was the last set of led's out there lol
 
From my experience, Rick @ Reefradiance has given my friend and I great customer service. It is very rare that the actual owner will take the time to call you and give excellent personal attentions. Rick is one in a few. Just have patience and I am sure he will go out of his way to resolve your issue.

Sounds like this Rick is a stand up guy. I have just never had any order I have ever placed go a full week with out any kind of information regarding the transaction. Even stuff I have order from China. I have no choice but to wait I guess.
 
Rick has been great to deal with as well here. Yes they take a long time for shipping, yes sometimes email replies are delayed, but I think this is all normal from a small business. The fact that Rick personally answers emails and phones calls tells me he cares about his customers and is probably very busy; hence why replies are delayed. I have the Lumentek 240 for my 75 Gallon.
 
Like the others have stated does take a little while for shipping but Rick is a stand up buisness man and sells a great product . I purchased 2 it 2040 evergrows during a group buy and I am very happy with quality of lights and also the extra warranty offered this company. I was informed when lights would be shipped and provided tracking numbers. I would call to make sure order went through correctly. Just my 2 cents.
 
One thing I will say, I ordered two DM-155e fixtures that are supposed to be 155 watts. I got sent two Evergrow D-120 watt fixtures. I emailed them to ask why and never got a response and I even called. I emailed them again for other fixtures a few months ago and they had raised the prices on the fixtures unless I organized a group buy with our club. Let's just say I'm not happy with that type of service and then give me a response that they can't give me the same price for fixtures they did before.... Sucks, oh well I went with someone else and got a better deal than I ever did.
 
Well I just got an email from them saying the light has shipped with a Fedex tracking#. I am happy I got some response but this dude sounds like he is running a growing business and needs help. Allowing customers to go a full week with out even an acknowledgment of an order is unacceptable. I run a business here and I would not be anything with out communication to my customers. Good news is I WILL get the light, bad news is apparently 2 weeks notice on an order is not enough with Reef Radiance. Hopefully the product is exceptional.
 
you'll be happy w the actual product... you can't buy better lights for that price, shoot,.you can't buy lights for that price period.
 
I need to chime in again...I received my light but the ramping is not working. I've tried emailing, calling (left voice message), and have not received any return messages regarding my problem. starting to get worried...
