Anyone know where I can buy one or two of these locally? I have found a farm and feed store that sells them but they want an arm, leg and a couple organ parts for a 165 gallon one. Thanks!

You won't find any vertical tanks local I was looking for 2 of them around 100 gal found foment at rural king but they wer to short and fat to make it inside my house. I'm probably going to order a couple

I can only imagine the freight cost to ship them O_o lol. I put in ISO add into my local classifieds site. We have a lot of farms around here, maybe someone will have one.

That would be awsome if they did. Shipping is cheaper if you can have it shipped to a business vs a house.

I would be concerned about what might have been in them, and whether or not you could really clean it out.

I went with two 65 gallon tanks from Rural King. One for RODI and the other for Saltwater mix.

I have 2 55g plastic barrels drilled from when i reworked my mixing station. Both have 1/2 the top cut off and a piece of plexi cut to cover the opening. 1 has 2 1" uniseals (1 top, 1 bottom) and 1 has 1 " uniseal (bottom) add a few pieces of pvc and a pump, you got an awesome mixing station. Hell, I even have most of the plumbing (valves, pvc, etc) and the uniseals ill throw in. Someone give me $25 for the both of them?

That is a great buy! With my husbands 240 + 100g sump and my 40B also with 100g sump, we need something bigger. My well water is so full of CO2 I burn through DI resen so I have to have to have 3 containers. One to put RO water in it to aerate the CO2 out of it then another to run that water thru the DI, then the third for making SW. Right now we have 2 32g brutes and a 55g barral for sw.

Here is what it looked like before I took it apart. Excuse the mess on top of them

Do you have an in line tds meter? How many stage ro do you use?

Not an inline, a hand held. I have a 4 stage, 2 membrane system. When we moved back to Missouri (we are Military) back in Sept I had noticed my DI was going out quick. I checked the rejection rate of my membranes, thinking them and my filters needed replaced but they came out good. Did some research, bought a co2 test kit and found out we have co2 in our well water. Best way to deplete it is to run an airstone or aerating powerhead into the ro water before it goes into the DI.

I'll take them. As I work on my new build, it's looking like I'm going to need more water storage than I originally planned. Let me know when I can swing by to get them or perhaps we could meet up at the Corner Reef?

Also you can check out tankdepot.com I was looking into a couple storage tanks but I found done off those 325g water totes for free locally. They held antimicrobials to keep algae out of drilling water. It becomes inert after heavy dilution and after being exposed to oxegyn for a few days. I've been housing nsw in mine for over a year with no nasty side effects.
