issue adding EB8

I've had my system up and running for about a month now with no real issues. Today I decided to add another EB8 into the system to automate top offs and such but I can't access it. The light stays green on it and all the outlets go to default but I can't program or acces it from the display. Any ideas.

Appears others are having issues with the controller finding EB8 as well. First e-mail Neptune, second try installing an older firmware(I believe the second newest is still on the Neptune site), try calling Neptune in the morning if they haven't responded to your e-mail yet, and finally check back to the board and see if others respond.

If you get it resolved or figure out what the issues is please report back here, so others can learn.

Does the new EB8 show up in the Module Setup screen at the bottom? When you say that 'all outlets go to default' what exactly do you mean? Do you see the outlets with the default programs assigned to them when you go to the Outlet Setup page?

It doesn't show up anywhere in any menu. I just know its doing somthing because it has some solinoid valves pluged into it and when I plug it in I hear the snaping on and off like the default pump oscilate.

So you're saying it doesn't show up in the Module List on the Module Setup web page and the outlets don't show in the Outlet Setup drop down box but you can hear the mechanical outlets turning on/off? Just want to be sure we're talking the same thing. That's very unusual, what you're describing. Your other outlets on your first EB8 - they had all been renamed from their default names?

You can try to initialize the aquabus from the display module: System - Init Memory - Init Aquabus Dev. Make sure your program is backed up first via the web page Save/Load because you'll have to reload your program after the initialize and it's possible this EB8 will come back as 3 and your original one as 4.

The init worked after a couple tries. The first few times it didn't show any names in the control or program list just a bunch of symbols shaped like houses with zeros next to them.
