I am having some issues growing my chaeto and I hope someone here can shed some light on whats going on and how to correct the problem.
ok,I have had chaeto in my refugium since I started the tank back in nov.at first it didnt grow much at all,at that time I had a phosphate issue.I have since started running gfo for the phosphate and my chaeto goes through growth cycles now,it will grow into a solid brick and I will harvest at least 1/3 of it out of the system and then its color fades and the chaeto almost turns transluesent.and seems to die back and fades in color and then it will start to grow again and fill up my refugium.is this normal? and can I stop it from this die off?
