issues with multiple BTAs?

Right now I have 6 small GBTAs in my 72 gal. (they are splits I haven't gotten rid of) They have all settled in and found their spots in the tank. I like them allright but I've been wanting a RBTA really bad and now my friend has offered me his for a good price and I'm wondering if there would be any issues with me adding it? Hostility or something? Is it ok to have alot of nems!? Also if I have to get rid of some of the GBTAs is there a trick to gettiing them off the rock? Thanks!

Not sure on having both, but what substrate do you have? No experience, but I've read a lot of people aim power heads at the nem to irritate them so they move, and that's been the easiest way to get them "unstuck" from the rock work. Other than that, I'm not sure. We're in the process of trying to unstick our nem from the bottom glass...

uum ..sand..ha ha Not sure what kind of sand, my LFS gave it to me out of their tank. I've also been slowly adding some Geo Marine argonite crushed coral. Thanks, if need be I'll try the powerhead method

We have sand too, which is why I don't want to try the power heads! BUT our nem is also buried in the sand bed, and pointed the PH right at it will make a huge sandy mess in the tank lol... if it wont blow your sand around too much (or if you dont care LOL) I'd try that method. Good luck!

You can have any color variant of BTAs together in the same tank without issue.

Normally this is fine. A lot of people here have no issues (including me). Some even have them touching. It is possible that if they touch there could be fighting, but normally there isn't an issue even then. It is exactly the same as adding another GBTA that is not a clone of the original.
