had lowe's cut the plexi to the size i wanted, then drew the 1"x1" grid on the protective layer on the plexi....then center-punched all the holes....then counter-sink....then step-drilled w/ 3/32" 1/8" & finally 1/4" drills. plexi cracks easily, so step-drilling is the only way to go.

lastly, i put the lil sticky rubber feet on at the glass edges.

forgot one step....after drilling all the holes to the desired size, i took the counter-sink tool in the drill & used it to de-burr all the holes on both sides, so it is nice & smoooooth
