hey there well yes as my title states its been a long time and what it meen is that i have had this dream of haveing a nano and its finally come, i now have the tank all the equitment only need to get the salt and LR for the tank but before i went ahead with this i was just going to double check that eveyr thign i have is good for the system.
these are the items that will be running on the tank:
filter/circultation- 100B MarineLand Bio wheel filter(100Gph)/Hagen Elite Mini sponder filter(58Gph)(detached th spone part so its a power head)
Lighting-15watt 50/50 fluro strip light(3watts per gallon)
heating-50watt hang on heater(will soon change to submersible)
I will be adding 2lbs of LR and it will have 6lbs of normal reef sand. I was told by my LFS that 2lbs of LR will be fine because the Bio-wheel filter will do a large part of my filtration as well and they said it would take up to much tank space with more then 2lbs of LR.
so im pretty sure this setup should do well i also have a 10gal with pre mixed water for water changes thats heated by a 200watt Hydor heater to make sure its the right temp(but will get a 100 watt so its not getting over heated)
anyway thanks for looking and if anyone knows any types of fish that will live in here or any corals that will do well under these lighting conditions please tell me.
Thanks!
