for kicks i'm gonna put a few freshwater fish in it for the summer. just some neons, hatchets, corys and few rams. not so many that i can't move them into a 40br when i go back to salt.

Let me know if you want some fw plants, I pruned out and tossed a bucket full couple of weeks ago.

I have some fw plants if you want some as well.. I have a few java fern and tons of java moss if you or anyone is interested.

Is this the cube ? That is too bad, sorry to hear that, and surprised that the glass started to crack. I have a drilled 30g with skimmer/sump/stand if you need another holding tank. I would like the skimmer back when you are done but you can keep the rest if you want.

i'm fine on tanks, thanks though. i hope to have something for you very soon though....

here are some of the cracks. they are *very* small, and the only reason i noticed them is because they picked up the light and sparkled. probably a dozen or so total if i remember correctly. i think it's a lizard tank at the moment.

Those cracks are strange indeed. You were lucky to catch it when you did. Makes me want to go home and check the bottom of my tanks.

Is this the tank you had with supports on only the four corners? Do you suppose that had something to do with it although it looks like there was a major rock collapse and the rock hit the bottom of the tank?

it was on the front pane, otherwise i would have never seen them and they would have probably gone all the way. the stand was cinderblocks in the corners (and at 8x16 supported more than just the very corners) with 2 sheets of glued&screwed plywood overtop. it checked out as flat and level and i used foam under the whole tank as per GC's instructions.
