I finally got my computer to working again.It got a bad virus.

i use the avg free version been 3 years and no virus's and best of all its free

Same here, works great for me. My wife bought McAfee AV for her laptop after it acquired a bad virus. It cleared the virus and she's had no problems since.

I am useing avast,but this virus got through.

I have used avast and AVG which are both as good as any you buy. I keep AVG updated, but my wife ended up getting a virus last night from a web page. No matter what you use, it will not give you 100% protection. Just be careful with emails and what websites you go to.

i also block all cookies except those needed to log in on a site with that alone will keep a majority out
