It's over

I will admit I am a Detroit Fan, I am sure they will draft a quarterback who will be the biggest flop in NFL History (Like they always do) at least I still have my Wings. Quick to Jump on the Detroit thing Marty. If I remember right you said you're from Chicago? I am sure you were not there to make fun of Detroit :)

Sorry, wasn’t personal. I just went for the obvious. (....and if the Lions can let the likes of a Barry Sanders get-away, then they deserve whatever future punishment is due them. THAT was a Crime!)

Yes, my beloved Bears have been a tremendous Disappointment.............. Again........

And yes, I too know all too well the Quarterback controversy of NOT having a star QB we can get behind.

But fortunately, we did manage to win at least Nine games to finish 9:7 and have (at least) a prayer at a Wild Card slot. Then, there was that whole Super Bowl “thing” a Couple years ago when they topped the NFC Standings. But Alas… Brian Urlacher himself, is not enough to will our team into the “W” column.

Better luck next year. I understand the Lions will end up with a nice few Picks in the draft. (But why did it have to be the Vikings (of all teams) to top the NFC North??? Yesterday, I was pulling so hard for Eli & Co.

With the way the NFL has been of late , y'all will be in the play-offs next season.

I could say!!!

Well it has not seemed to work that way for the "Saints" but then that would not be very nice!! :hammer:

And seeing that I am a really nice person!! :D

It did in 2006. The Saints were on the bottom in 2005.

The Saints were hamstrung by massive injuries this year. They have one of the most impressive IR lists this year. They get a decent secondary next year and you'll see

Why? What hapened in '06?

They went from last in 2005 to the NFC championship game in 2006 and played a team on the worst field in existence. A field in such horrible condition it would have made the Alma F. Johnson grade school pee wee Vipers football team embarressed. A team with a bunch of low rent fans making fun of the Saints fans because of Katrina. A team who's real claim to fame was special team play. Are you ,perhaps, familiar with this team and it's city?

BLAH!!!!! HAAA!! HAAA!!!! HAA!! Haa! haa!!!!!

I just had to see if you'd mention the 2006 NFC Championship!

Alright, so.......

We're obviously talking here about a certain Team from the heart of Chicago, Illinois. The city of big shoulders, and home, of course, to a certain football team, which has carved out a special place in the pantheon of professional football greats.

That team, which is known the world over, as...... Da Bears!

I noticed no cowgirl fans offered their team up as a flop, so I'll jump in there for them............how bout them cowboys!

Like it or not, I'll have to admit that I'm a Cowboys fan.

Go Titans:D

FWIW I can remember staying up for Detroit and Bears games just to see Payton or Sanders break one:)

Go Titans indeed!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE the Titans!!!! It's like old home week for me. I adore Jeff Fisher as our Head Coach!

And let's see...... where did he cut his teeth? Who drafted him originally??? And where did he play his entire Pro career as a player???

Oh that's right, its a certain team, from a certain City, next to a certain Lake, and that team is affectionately known the world over as... DA BEARS!

(My only regret is that he wasn't on the field and was sidelined due to an ankle injury for SuperBowl XX. But he got the Ring!! And to be sure, Assisting Buddy Ryan as a Defensive Coordinator for the Bears, and serving under Mike Ditka, Jeff is hard NOT to Love as an NFL leader as a Head Coach!)

Go Titans!!
