IV machines as Dosing pumps

I asked my place what they did with the old blueIVAC when they upgraded to the digital ones a year ago. They traded it in ... How inconsiderate!
if you can get your hands on one, they are perfect for dosing. Can set the drip rate/hour
great for when you go on vacation.
I have used IV bags of sterile water, put A and B and dripped it in separate parts of the tank. The problem is the the Buffer clogs up the IV tubing and it messes up the balance real bad when you are gone for a week.

Yikes! Would of bn nice to catch one before the trade ins. These are Abbott 1.6s. Pretty good for our cause lol. Just a lil outdated. I like the idea with sterile water bags. I wonder what the gravity of the saline is.

Have any prices? I was just looking for one to plumb to my sump from the RODI holding barrel. Are they single or double?

Well still no reply from him. I think he may be on vacation. I believe I know who he is but haven't seen him around this week at the hospital. I can't blame him if he's on vacation for not wanting to deal with work. Ill check n see if I can figure out where he is when I go to work today. That's a great idea Alicia!! I'm not sure but I believe they are singles. Will update this afternoon.

Sorry about taking so long to get back to this. I spoke to him Friday and told him we would be interested in approx 12 units and he was sorta baffled. He told me he wasn't sure how many he had on hand to get rid of at this point. Nor could he give me a price per unit. He said he would get back to me mid or end of this week (doubtful). I guess he doesn't like to make money. I'll update again when or if I hear from him. I'll call Monday if he doesn't call back this week. Weird guy tho
