Just sittin by the tank and noticed that there were "scales" on the rock just blowing in the water but then I noticed they were everywhere. I took my feeding stick and touched them and they were some type of worm they crawled in to the rock face. They are a rust color and flat then when touched went kinda round and flat and crawled any ideas.

If they are flatworms and they are red they might be the ones that can breed to the point of irritating your corals. I've had white ones before that din't hurt anything. Sounds like you got the troublesome ones (rust colored and everywhere) if they are flatworms - here's a sort-of picture I googled - does it look like that except the sparkly colors and maybe a little longer and flatter? About half the size of the letters printed on your keyboard or less?

I had the exact same thing in some live rock in quarentine and Salifert Flatworm exit worked very well without stressing out the little coral I had in the same tank.

I have flat worms in one of my tanks now. Flatworm Exit does work good but you will need to treat more than once or they will come back after a couple weeks. I thought I got rid of them after the first treatment and about 2-3 weeks later I had more. I have heard that when you treat the tank you kill the living ones but you need to treat the tank 3-4 more times 3-4 days apart to get the next reproductive cycle. I have been told that you need to use more than the recommended dose also. siphon as many out as you can before you dose it to reduce the toxins that they give off when they die.
