Iwaki(Japan or US)/PanWorld/Gen-X....Which one?

I posted this the equpment forum as well.

I will moving shortly and I plan to rebuild by 125 FOWLR. I want to stray away from the internal mag-drive pumps I am running now for returns and switch to an external model.

I am looking at the following pumps in the order of interest:

1) Iwaki MD30RLXT (Japan motor) 960 gph
2) Iwaki WMD30RLXT (US motor) 960 gph

Which one is more efficient, reliable? I know the Japanese model doesn't come w/ a cord. (no big deal)

3) PanWorld 5-PX-X 1110 gph

Is this pump as good as the Iwaki pumps? It looks to be compared with with the pressure rated models from Iwaki, does this make a difference?

4) Gen-X PCX-40 1190gph

It seems to be the cheaper of the group. Why? Is it not that good/reliable? Is this a tried and true pump? Or do they have a track record of failure?

I am NOT on a money saving journey. I want the BEST of the group.

Thanks for the input.

Jim

For the Iwaki, its listing at 960 gph w/ 4' of head.

Are the panworld ratings w/ 4' of head as well, or 0'?

Thanks for the quick response. You guys rock!
