Iwasaki 150W 50000K bulbs

Would these bulbs be suitable for Squammies?

I was told that they are a very nice bulb and are quite "white", compared to most 14k bulbs.

I have seen it with my own eyes. The color is unbelievable. The output is twice as blue as normal 20K's !! Dow't know how clam will react. Better use it with a 10k, or a dawn&dusk lighting

Read the post. But I have already got them on order.

So will be interesting to see how the clams react. If they are adversely affected I will just go back to the 14k which I am using now.

Suppose I could have the Iwasaki on the side of the tank without the clams and a 10 or 14k on the other with the clams.

I remember reading a while back that the actual spectral output of the Iwasaki 50kk bulb was close to that of a 13kk bulb. You should be fine
