Iwasaki 15K's

Shouldnt; I be able to run the Iwasaki 15K 175W on M57's? I screwed them into the fixture and it would not fire them at all. I left it running for about two hours and it never once flickered... I put the used XM 15K's abck in and they fire right up. I am not completely certain that these are M57, but I know they aren't electronics... I guess I ought to open the enclosure and find out...

not a cheap bulb by no means but, I am liking the growth and color Im getting form them.

I got mine from Hellolights. I was hoping i could run them on the M57's because I hear i may be able to run VHO's, too. Good par and color for a 175. I still haven't cracked the enclosure open yet to check on the ballasts. I drained the 120 yesterday and added sand. It wore me out... It is just as cloudy today as when I added the water back...

I'm waiting until I get the 120 going. If the sandstorm will die down... I've got a lot of corals in the 125 that need to go in the 120 (lower light). I know it isn't looking like I want it to right now, so it's hard to take any pics and make myself post them...
