iwasaki 6500k / 41R with e-ballast

I'm interested in this bulb:

and was wondering if it would run ok with a lumatek adjustable ballast.

The description of the bulb has me a little concerned that it won't burn as well on an e-ballast.

This lamp will burn just fine on an e-ballast. The Iwasaki's are now spec'd for a standard MH ballast, not mercury vapor like the old days. Just out of curiosity, what are you going to be using this on?

Thanks for the info Jeremy. I'll be placing the order for that and a lumatek tonight most likely. This is going to be for a seagrass tank.

Sounds great! Post some photos after it's setup. That is one of my all time favorite lamps.
