I probably should have done this a long time ago! I want to say thank you to Reefcentral.com and FMAS for helping me get started in the reefing hobby in October 2013!

A little over a year later and my tank has had some great growth.

Its a 55 gallon corner tank with a modded wet dry sump/refugium. I saw the best growth when I was dosing Natureef's "Reef Former" and 5 ml of vinegar in my 5 g ato once a week. Then, I won some regular kalk powder, switched, after two months I don't think its up to par with the Natureef I was using. I was seeing way faster growth with my SPS when using Natureef.

I just won the aqua vitro line at the last swap and im excited to see what it can do. Currently dosing the fuel and vibrance... However, Im still debating on using the 2 part it came with. Nervous? maybe, ive never used two part before.

Sump: (2) TLF 150 reactor - Carbon and GFO
Reef Octopus SSS 1000 Skimmer
Mangroves and Cheatoe

First image was taken a year ago..the rest are up to date!

Its an odd shape. Not sure of exact dimensions, but it has a corner back and a hex front 55g tall if that helps. I will be upgrading this Christmas, super worried im gonna lose alot in the move.

I had a 44g with the same style tank years ago. I always wondered what it would look like as a reef but could never do it due to the lighting available at the time. really neat tank since you get depth without it taking up much space.
