Anyone willing to host January? We'd love to visit some of our new members who've joined in the past year.
 
We spoke about it yesterday... Must have been after some of you left... Its the same weekend as the Nashville Frag Swap, so we were planning on meeting up out there... Mel did suggest I host the February meeting... We'll see... lol ;)
 
Looks like we ARE having a January meeting!!

Woo hoo!

So January 6th at Chris's (fishdoc11) house at 5pm. We have never seen his tank (well most of us) so it will be great to go to a new place!

We need to start talking about food but I guess not necessarily right away (though you know me...I always want to start talking about food).
 
Thanks for hosting Chris. I cant wait to see the tank again (in person) and see the growth and equipment set-up that I need to duplicate for my next tank.

Tradition dictates that the host sets the "theme" of the food so pls offer up some idea that we can add to with sides.

We are very glad to host and very much looking forward to it:D

I wouldn't duplicate it Don. Maybe you can take a couple of things away and mix them with your own ideas:)

I'll send directions in the next few days.

I will discuss the food theme with Amy....we love food!

On a side note this is the first night I haven't had to study in several months....it's very weird but wonderfull:)

I'll be there if I can. I might have to Make a weekend trip to Michigan that weekend, I probably won't know for sure until the last minute. So i'll keep you all posted. I just hope I dont get lost on this one... haha getting tired of that!
 
Hey guys...need to keep this going!

Only a week and a half til the meeting at Chris's house.

It will be a good opportunity to see a set up that many of us have never seen previously!

Chris did you guys ever decide what the food theme will be?
 
Yep...sounds fine with me. I'm sure these guys can think of SOMEthing to go with Brats.

Hmmmm...wonder what would go with brats?

I'll try and make it but can't stay long -- have to get up early Sunday to go skiing. January's a busy time for us, but I've always wanted to see your tank so I'll try and swing by. In keeping with the "B" theme, I'll bring a plate of brownies!

As far as food stuff...not sure yet.
 
I'll post the directions in the next couple of days, hopefully. Also, is there a topic I should mention on the website (besides drooling over Chris' tank, that is)?

Also, I won't be able to make the meeting (it is my oldest son's birthday). But somebody please take some notes for me to post.

I'm not sure about a topic. We are going to Indiana tommorrow so I'm not sure if I will have time to some up with a handout etc.....

Why don't we just plan on talking reefs and if I can I'll come up with something else we'll do that too.......talking reefs is my favorite part anyway:D
