January TBRC Meeting

Mrs Postal

New member
Join us for the first meeting of 2018 where we will begin our year with a club frag auction. Anyone can buy, only paid members can sell. How to join the TBRC is posted here on the stickied threads. This month's meeting will be in Palm Harbor and Mark Straley(snookster here) will be hosting. We arrive at 6pm.

Please come join us. Remember to bring something to share with folks to eat and that you do not need to be a current member to attend our meetings. The club will provide drinks(soda, water) for the group. We're working on a Education Topic and Zach will let us know more info about that in the next week. This is a great opportunity to discuss your own reef keeping interests and talk to other members about what they are doing as well.

Address is: 256 Millstone Dr; Palm Harbor 34683

I'll be there! I paid my dues a few weeks ago but haven't gotten a card yet? Maybe I can get it at the meeting?

I'll cut a few frags tonight for the stick heads that will be at the meet ;)

Aaron

Aaron-I'll get cards out. Working on them over the weekend because we'll get a rush close to FL Frag Swap w/ the $5 admission for members. It'll be a PDF that you can save on your phone and show to the ticket folks at any events.

Heads up to those coming, my street is a little on the narrow side, so please be considerate of my neighbors and everyone please park on the west side of the street so people can get through without taking your mirror off.

TBRC Frag Auction Rules:

  • To sell frags, you must be a current TBRC member.
  • You can join at any meeting before the auction or via PayPal before the meeting.
  • Sell Price is split- 75% goes to the seller; 25% is donated to the TBRC.
  • Frags must be registered with the TBRC prior to start of the auction. Frag description, seller's name and any minimum bid amount must be stated on the registration form.
  • No more than 10 different frags per member, per meeting.
  • TBRC assumes no responsibility for the quality of the frags auctioned. The buyer is encouraged to treat all frags prior to introducing them into their tank or using a quarantine method.
  • The auctioneer's word is final on all sales.

I'll be bringing a clump of my green-on-green zoas with peach mouths. Fast growers! Those Vivid Rainbows and Magicians should be ready for the next auction!
