Japanese Rose Bubble Tip Anemones

Can someone tell me about these, please? I have only killed anemones before. The minis are doing ok in my crumby tank, though.

Thanks

Never had one, but from what I understand from my reading, the most common cause of death is slow starvation and/or malnutrition. While they are photosynthetic, they apparently don't get everything they need this way. They are reportedly relatively hard to keep alive over the long term.

Things I've read indicate a need to feed at least once a week, but I've never seen a recommended diet.

Good luck!

I and others locally have kept BTAs for >1 year with no supplemental feeding. Don't know about the "Japanese" variety or even if I believe they are from Japanese waters but that shouldn't matter provided they are the same species.
