Jawfish Eggs???

I believe my pearly jawfish has eggs in its mouth . Is this how they breed/raise young . I do have 2 in the tank and they do share each others homes with no aggression . I noticed the same thing in her mouth a while ago but had no idea what it was and didnt get to take a picture. She goes in and out of the hole and has them in her mouth most of the time . Are they eggs?? Is this common in jawfish? Any chance of raising the young ??Thanks All.

yes- its common, they breed frequently in the home aquarium.
I would suggest you do a search ere in the fish breeding forum for jaw fish, and look specifically for Martin Moes thread. He successful raised them last yr. BTW the fry are incredibly small and difficult to feed, but if you have access to live plankton or the ocean you can make this happen.
Best of luck
