Really want a jawfish but i have a shallow sandbed, i have lots of rock rubble but a fine grade sand bed, anyway i could get away with it??

It was funny but miner moved into a eshoppes frag mound thing I bought. One of the holes was empty and he just swam into there and stayed.

Pile up some rubbles and substrate for jawfish in an area of your tank, and the fish will do the rest

A smaller species such as O. whitehursti, a type of dusky will be fine in a little less sand depth. Rubble is a must.

Just pick up some GSP? Just joking my BSJF has gotten so tame since he thinks he owns the tank.

Awesome picture. One of my favorite youtube videos shows two pearly jawfish in the wild spitting sand into each others holes right next to each other. Looks like a Laurel and Hardy routine.

rubble is no problem i have lots of it but i don't want to stress the fish out and i don't wanna get anything like barnacles as it is an un natural look
