Jawfish v. Brittle Star?

I read an article on Jawfish in Reefkeeping (which i lost the link to) that stated Brittle Stars were not good to keep with jawfish but it did not elaborate a whole lot further than that. Does anyone have further input on this?

I have 2 britle stars, one in excess of 12" and have been looking into getting a jawfish for years.

Green brittle stars love to eat whatever fish they can catch. I got one when it was small becuse the wife thought it was cute - and it was - for a few years -until my fish started disapearing - he now lives with my 4' undulated moray.

I've heard it's just the greens that are aggressive towards fish. I had a black brittle star that never bothered any fish in my tank. It just sat in a rock with it's tentacles filter feeding in the flow. However, I would bet that a dead or sick fish would be USDA Choice Cut prime rib for it if it got a hold of it.

Dead fish never get a chance to screw up my water for sure. Either the hermits or the stars get there PDQ. My sandbed is immaculate.

I'm concerned however that a Jawfish would live in fear of any brittle star however. I'd like to know if anyone has had experience with the two creatures co-habitating.
