JBJ 20gal Frag Tank

So I have setup and have running my JBJ 20gal frag tank.

issue I saw is that the water in the "sump" is running low but their is plenty of water above the overflow?

Whats the deal with that?

Is there a clog in the tubing or anything running from overflow to sump causing it to backup? Did it just start this or has it done this since setup?

Its got some foam that it runs through and some LR but that's it.... I guess the foam could be slowing it down a little too much

something is blocking the return pumps flow on the right side. i have the same tank. and i run an AquaClear 70, and a REmoraS in the back as HOB filtration

your problems could range between, filterfloss blocking flow, or if have bags of chemipure elite or purigen like me, or you need to replace the pump, but its hard bc of the shape and size of the last section. not a lot of pumps fight that square, and are retrofitted for the return spray bar. If you have the spray bar in, it might be clogged with sand or something. I clean mine out occasionally.

from the bottom of the basket up, FILTERFLOSS (I CUT THESE INTO THE SHAPE I WANTED) AND THE AQUACLEAR WHITE MECHANICAL FILTRATION SPONGE. They have a custom Carbon pack you can buy for the AC70, but since I run a bag of ChemiPure Elite, i dont need too much carbon filtration.

I have a red sea prizm that I run for my skimmer... Seems to be doing a decent job. All I had except that was mechanical but I have some chemipure elite coming in along with some carbon.
