JBJ 28g Nanocube problem

Hi,

I bought this tank from your company right around the first of the year (Web Order Number: 100339328)

After I got it I discovered that there was a problem with the right hinge that connects the tank to the display:

(This was one of 2 pictures sent in my e-mails with Ryan in your CS dept)

I thought it was just missing a part and no big deal. Ryan in your Customer Service dept did an excellent job getting a hold of JBJ and getting another "part" sent out.

After getting some minor painting done in the room this is going in and building the stand I went to finish this up today only to discover that there is much more damage than I thought.

It turns out I wasn't missing a hinge, I found the sheered off part in the bottom of the tank with the skimmer box and manual.
Upon further examination I found that the entire back plastic piece is cracked from end to end. It must have gotten smacked real hard somewhere along the way.

You can see the crack on the left along with the circular hole that is broken in the plastic (Wish I would have examined the tank better from the start).

Is there a way that I can get just the tank replaced? I haven't tried the HQI light, plan to tomorrow but I'm sure that's fine.

Hi Colin,

Thanks for your post, I am sorry to hear about the damage on the tank. We normally will handle the first 30 days for warranty service, anything after 30 days will normally be handled by the manufacturer,unless we are instructed different from them.
I placed a call to JBJ this morning to address your issue. I have emailed them this thread and a copy of your invoice so that they may be able to further handle this issue for you. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
