JBJ Arctica Chiller sizing?

I am looking to buy a chiller and from what I have read here, most of the reefers recommend the JBJ. I don't mind paying a bit more for quality but I don't want to pay for more than I need, meaning a larger unit. I looked on their web site and they have a sizing program but it says I need a 1/2 hp and that's big bucks. I don't think I need one that big. I only had a heat problem in the summer but I just installed an exterior pan world pump which raised the temp 5 degrees.

I have a 180 and want about a 10 degree temp drop. Some sellers say the 1/5 hp is good up to 180 gal. The next step up is 1/4 hp which is supposed to be good up to 250 gal but it's 200 bucks more. I just don't want to buy the 1/5 and not have enough cooling. Also I don't want to buy the 1/4 and not need that much. Does anyone have a JBJ on their 180 and if so what size is it?

I have a 1/3 HP JBJ on my 180. It depends on total amount of watts, volume of water and actual temp verses desired temp. The sizing calculator said I needed a 1/3 HP but I wish I had gone with a 1/2 HP to handle any changes to my system down the road. Right now with my present setup it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to lower the temp from 79F to 77F.
