JBJ Chiller and AC-Jr

I have a question. Today i am recieving my AC-Jr. I want to control my JBJ Chiller 1/10hp.

I want to keep my tank around 80d. So i am guessing i set my AC to
If Temp > 81 CHL on
If Temp < 79 CHL off

Now my Chiller should be set to 78???

I want to put a 2 degree swing so the chiller is not turning off and on so much.

I am guessing the same goes for the heater put it at 78?
If Temp > 79 Then HET on
If Temp < 79 Then HET off

Let me know if i am picturing this right.

You need to set the heater a degree or 2 higher than the AquaController controlled temperature or 80 in your case.
I'd increase the dead band between the on/off temperatures for the heater. Something like this:

If Temp > 79 Then HET on
If Temp < 78 Then HET off
